Finding creativity in every day

Hilton Head Island, SC, comes alive in the spring with vibrant azaleas blooming in a sea of pinks and whites. The beauty of nature's palette fosters my creativity, encouraging me to both create and embrace environmental stewardship. This time of renewal inspires reflection, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose. Creativity is not limited to art; it thrives in every moment and interaction; all it takes is a bit of imagination. Whether through painting, gardening, or mindful actions, there’s always an opportunity to express creativity and contribute to the world around us.

These small acts of creativity connect us more deeply to our surroundings and to each other. A shared garden project, a handwritten note, or even rearranging a living space with intention can spark joy and inspire those around us. When we view our daily routines through a creative lens, the ordinary transforms into something meaningful. In this way, Hilton Head isn’t just a backdrop—it becomes an active participant in our stories, reminding us that inspiration often lies right outside our door.

Coastal Bay Art is a woman-owned business, developed with intention, inspired by the beauty of the coast I call home and mindfulness of the environment.

My paintings are designed from nature and created by me using watercolor, acrylic and other materials. Painting allows me to share the beauty of coastal South Carolina while finding balance and beauty in nature.
